If you knew the real me.

by The Lady of Shalott   Feb 21, 2006

If you only knew the real me,
with your name carved in my arm.
If you only knew the real me,
never meant to cause you harm.
If you only knew the real me,
you would know of my pain.
If you knew the real me,
then maybe, just maybe, you wouldn't think me insane!
If you only knew the real me
slides in and out of control.
If you knew the real me,
you could complete my soul.
If you only knew the real me,
you would've known from the start,
that the name carved in my arm,
will be forever engraved in my heart.
