IN trouble

by leeanne   Feb 21, 2006

Growing up I was the only daughter
I put my mom in such deep water

I was always getting into trouble
Always bursting my moms bubble

I didn't care if I would get beat
I would be back out on the street

From drinking to fighting to stealing
Smoking weed oh what a feeling

Then one day I went to court
Listening to them say time is short

So away I went for awhile
Now I was in denial

So now where was all my friends
Not here with me through this bend

So one thing that I came to see
Is the only friend I had was me

This goes out to my mother
I will promise you this I wont be
LIKE MY BROTHER!!

P.S. my brother has been in prison all his life since he was 15 he is now 38!
