Kissing Blades

by Just Sierra   Feb 22, 2006

Silent thoughts left reminising,
Sober blades and scars from kissing
Twisting darkness, impending death
You always know how to take my breath

Silver tears in falling rain
Screams and whispers of the pain
Graves left hollow for the taking
You always manage to keep me breaking

Golden shadows slowly paling
Candle light impatiently failing
Shattered glass, always sharp for bleeding
You can't satisfy all the wants I'm needing.

Blowing wind through curtains gray
You always find the words to say,
Lips parched and veins run dry
Murder me softly, kiss me goodbye

Reminising as dark skies turn black
I'm missing you and I want you back
Silhouettes sink into my shadow's shades
Nothing says I love you quite like kissing blades.

That poem was amazing! It made me think of past experiences and how everything you said was so true. Keep up the good work.

A very beautiful rhyme scheme. Everything flows as well as it should and your choice of words make it all the better.
"Candle light impatiently failing" and the repetition of 'reminiscing' were two factors i especially liked. Very lovely poem.

Very well done. Has a dark aura that I've yet to achieve in my poems. Good job.
