Friendship

by Momentary Relapse   Feb 23, 2006

A string of brilliant lights
Glaring brightly from me and you
Connecting us more strongly
Than any type of glue

No one would know or care
Of this bond we so clearly see
Except the two of us
Simply just you and me

Through everything in life
That is thrown our way
We so easily avoid or ignore it
As we continue each day

Another would not see it
The way we have done
Very few would understand
Since we confuse anyone

Some call it a connection of minds
Some call it a connection of hearts
We just call it one thing
That was never torn apart

It is what kept us together
Through times both good and bad
That helped us through weather
And times that are happy and sad

The connection that we have
Is one no one can claim
Building strong binds that tie
Weaving through our names

*an old piece
