Never Letting Go

I never wanted to let go
But I couldn't let my feelings show
When you said those words
My heart dropped
Then I felt a tear drop
A tear drop down my cheek
I felt so powerless, so weak
I couldn't even speak
After all this time
I never knew the thought of losing you
Would make me lose my mind
I'm trying to move on
Trying to find a reason to live
Trying to find another one to give
To give my heart to
But that's not going to come true
Cuz I lost you
I never realized how much I loved you
And would never put anyone above you
Until now
But it's too late
I missed my chance to enter heaven's gate
Because I decided to listen to somebody else
Not letting me do my own thinking for myself
