She Shot Me Down

by *Jess*   Feb 24, 2006

She shot me down,
he took advantage of her will to be free,
he told her to take my life,
he told her to kill me.

She shot me down,
i once looked up to her,
she has blood that of a fierce warrior,
the blood of my elder sister.

She shot me down,
without batting an eye,
shedding my blood that resembles her own,
no i screamed, i don't want to die.

She shot me down,
the sister that protected me for years,
she pinned me to the ground hard,
taking advantage of my darkest fears.

She shot me down,
with desire in her eyes,
sister please don't do this,
i called to her holding back my cries.

She shot me down,
stabbed a sai through my heart,
the heart that made room for her,
she tore it all apart.
She shot me down,
she whispered: it is the only way to set us free,
she stabbed herself,
with the sai she took out of me.

She shot me down,
grunting in pain i knew she cared,
my sister, such a warrior she was,
in all my life, i have never seen her scared.

She shot me down,
the only sister i've ever known,
held me tight as she always did,
she left me to die, but not alone.
