Caffeine Fix

by Madga   Feb 25, 2006

The smell awakes you in the morning,
Another fix, another intermix,
Of stress and pain, but it goes away,
Just like the worries, and era of hurry,
Lusting behind your addiction,
With utter confidence that it will save you,
Denying your own affliction,
Can you sense this, that's your cue,
Now, now, don't you panic,
For we have the time, you're going to be fine,
Over indulging in complete fixation,
Trembling spines, you should decline,
Just another, beg and plead,
Just one further for the wretched,
Perhaps one more for the greed,
Oh now, you are in fact captivated,
Such a spell which has been put,
Can you foresee now, this is your fate?
Trading everything youâ've developed into,
You must get more, you can't possibly ignore,
Inject me with a coffee syringe,
No one said it'd hurt to go on a caffeine binge.

..Dont make fun, I haven't written in forever, so I'm rusty like crazy. I know it's not good, but I'd like to post it anyway. I like the title more than the actual poem.
