I gave u my heart on paper
i gave u my soul in a line
i gave u my heart in a melody
i gave u my soul in a rhyme

i gave you my feelings...emotions
i gave u my heart on my sleeve
i gave u my essence of being
and still i can't believe

u balled up my love like paper
u tore up my heart into shreds
and without u in my heart
i guess I'm left for dead

i gave you my all of my love
you gave me a reason to cry
so now , you'll give me excuses
and I'll give you a goodbye
