Before your eyes

by LastPromise   Feb 26, 2006

If it was gone tomorrow would you notice?
If it was gone tomorrow would you care?
Replaced by an empty space of air
But maybe that's what you want,
To remain in your world without reality
Where you can't see what goes on in front of your eyes.

Your judgment has been clouded
Who you are has changed, but you can't see
Of course to you the problem is...me
Maybe I have changed, distanced myself I admit
While you remain in your world without reality
Where you can't see what goes on before your eyes

I feel as if I'm losing my best friend, that is why I changed
Although you say you want me to stay
You both make me unwelcome and I feel in the way
Even when you say its ok, its awkward for me
But you can remain in your world without reality
Where you choose not to see what goes on before your eyes

We used to talk about everything
But that's lost and I cant bring myself to open up to anyone again
I'm slowly being erased and sick of the pain
I will always be there if you need me still, don't forget
But for now you just stay in your fantasy world without reality
Eventually you will wish you saw what was happening before you eyes, because it won't be there anymore.
