Tourment

by *lil muffin*   Feb 27, 2006

Sitting in the corner
Tears in her eyes
Alone in her room
She wonders why

Why the lies
Why the pain
Why the tourment
Why the shame

Sitting alone
When no ones there
Begging for help
From someone who cares

Why should she cry
Why should she care
Why won't this stop
Why isn't anyone there

All of thesse questions
Cycle through her mind
As she wonders why
People just can't be kind

She's losing her grip on reality
She doesn't know what to think
She doesn't know what to do
She doesn't know if she should speak

Why can't they go away
Why can't they just die
She thinks
As she sits here and cries

The phone starts to ring
It's her best friend calling
He says he lover her
And that he's coming

The door bell rings
He's standing at the door
He runs up to her
And picks her up off of the floor

He tells her it's ok
He's here for forever
No one is going to harm her
Not now, not ever.
