The Path Less Traveled

"The Path Less Traveled"

The evening has arrived,
I am at peace again.

The work is done
I shall rest now for I have toiled long.

My body aches from that work,
My mind is overrun with emotions.

I shall remain very humble,
but very proud.

For my work is an amazing culmination
of steady and diligent planning.

The curtain rose and I saw my work,
The actors were dancing with ease and confidence

I have arrived at a pivotal point in my life.
I enjoy and love my passion for design.

I am thinking of giving it up,
to pursue other passions at this time.

I am aware of the ease of my life,
so comfortable and predictable.

It is that comfort and predictability,
that draws me away from it all.

At a crossroads, I shall say,
Shall I take the paved path?
Or Shall I take the path less traveled?

Of course, being the Virgo artist
that I am, I shall choose the more
difficult path, the one less traveled.

So I am off on a journey,
A journey to see just how challenging
life can be.

I need a new passion,
a spark that will ignite
the pent up creativity that dwells in my
mind and soul.

I am awaiting a signal, or a message
that will assist in my life changing
decisions.

Author's Notes: Yes, a crossroads, ready to meet new challenges, new experiences and much love!

Peace, love, and light,
Amber Moonstone
