Broken Love

by Kristie   Feb 28, 2006

Darkness dwelling in her eyes,
In the fire her body dies.
But the pain she does not feel,
For she is no longer real.

Is there love, is there hate?
Will she make it through heaven\\\'s gate?
Will the demons bring her down,
Down into the devil\\\'s, Satan\\\'s town?

Must she suffer anymore,
How much blood must she pour?
There\\\'s no reason to live and grow,
Cause happiness left her long ago.

The fire\\\'s gone, her body dead,
But her heart is left instead.
Her damaged heart is left unbroken,
And she leaves the Earth without this token.

A heart is worthless that does not beat,
Let it burn with lots of heat.
As her heart is left to die,
It will never been given to another guy.

Good poem. Very dark and deep. Could use some work, but it's good as it is.

    Good job!
