Close To Me Again

I can't believe that you're back again
so long without you
grew to despise you
but you're been gone too long
and you're back to me

I couldn't wait any longer
I needed to hold you close
So close that you turn me all red
Created more gashes and
more scars will permanently stay

Why did I allow myself to bring you near
and now my new cuts are so clear
