An Angel Gone

An angel found,
An angel gone.
A new face
Not unfound.

A simple wish
That was ignored.
I wished for you,
And for my loss, I mourn.

A single tear
Falls to the ground.
Why bother catching it?
I won't ever be found.

As I stare,
I remember
Every thing that happened
Last September.

It didn't take long,
For you to break my heart.
Your plans were obvious,
I just wasn't smart.

I say it all the time,
But maybe just once more.
I love you with all my heart,
And will forevermore.

I know I really shouldn't.
Just look at what it's done to me.
