Words Hurt

Why do people say what they say?

I don't know why they hurt people with words.

All I know is that it causes me to hurt myself.

People say "words don't hurt",
well, they do.

They cause me to bleed...
Inside and out.

I bleed for the words,
until I am bled dry.

When that happens,
I'm dead inside...

But who isn't?
