Remember Me???

So much sadness
as I listen to the words my friends say
that you got hurt and almost passed away

Though your still alive I know a part of you died
when you forgot who you were or who your friends are
when I say your name all I get is a blank stare
you don't know who I am or that I was your best buddy
You cant remember all the laughs that we shared
and all the stupid stuff we discussed

It makes me want to weep
to know that I have to get to know you all over again
or maybe never regain you as a friend
Though I'm glad your alive...
I wish you were the Dana I used to know and love

I know this poem isn't very good but i wrote it about a friend of mine who got in a car wreak and lost all her memory...now she doesn't even know who I am..well ne way Please Comment..Thanks..Joc....

    Now is this time to help her build new memories if possible. you never know.. nice thought s about your friend, she is lucky to have words written about her from a friend like you. peace

    That's sad . . . but sweet. I can't imagine what if it would be like if one of the people closest to me lost their memory, I can only hope that you have managed to help her bring her memory back. The poem was excellently written though - the feelings expressed and the 'storyline' (for want of a better word) was crystal clear.
