You're The Reason

by MaryAnn   Feb 28, 2006

My fault, my sin.
I quit, you win.
I give up on you.
I give up on me too.
I've always tried to do things right.
But, I always end up losing the fight.
So I drown my thoughts and say, everything will be alright today.
My secret is, every thing's not alright.
So, here I go crying into the night.
Why can't I have just one day,
to know what to do and say to make my day okay?
I try, but then I fail and cry, and then I want to die.
Why not say good-bye?
The ironic thing is you keep me here.
You keep me standing in the middle of all my fears.
I said I quit, but I still commit to this busy life I lead day to day. But just so you know, you are the reason I live this way.
