Between Truth and Lies

Everything I've hidden inside
And all the things that I've denied
Are breaking through
All of this it seems is because of you
I don't mean to place the blame
But I feel no shame
Broken pieces lie in my hands
So all I have now are broken strands
This world I'm living is beginning to break
Its hard to live with the pain and heart ache
Here i stand
On the hearts of those who don't understand
I don't want to cause myself this pain
The scars will only remain
I'm running out of inspiration
Can you not feel my desperation?
You hide behind the disguise
Between truths and lies
The cuts should make me stronger
But they make the nights longer
The darkness breaks the light
And creates the dreams of night
I stand here on top of those who pretend to see me
But what they see
Is just the opposite of me
The truth has arrived
In the tears you hide
Turn away and disappear
And pray things aren't so unclear
