You've got your finger on the trigger

by not.your.star....   Mar 1, 2006

So go and throw your life away
And admit that everything feels better now
I'm telling the truth when I say
I meant it every time I said those words ( that slit your throat)

Honestly I never knew you ( never did)
and with every pulse in me I swear I never tried
Never thought it mattered, mattered if we died.

I tried ( I swear I did)
Swore that every time I saw your face ( i wouldn't scream)
But the sharps of glass are sliding down my throat
and they say it's easier if you just let it happen
So let me happen now

It's my last week and honestly do you care?
It's tomorrow and I swear I'm almost there
And you just leave me to bleed ( our past is just a blur)
So let's stare into each others eyes ( we're such a perfect sight)
I always knew I loved you ( maybe tomorrow it'll be right.

So go ahead and smile just like everybody else
You've got your finger on the trigger and you're aiming at my heart
So fire....
