Numb

Looking for answers,
None I can find,
Wanting life in my heart,
Feeling death in my mind.

No one understands me,
So this is what I've become,
Nothing but emptiness,
And pain that I want numb.

No one listens,
Because not once did they care,
All of my feelings,
They're just unaware.

If only somebody listened,
To what I have to say,
Maybe I wouldn't cut,
Maybe I'd have a better day.

I've held it all inside so long,
I'm not sure if I can go on,
All the hope I once had,
Is suddenly gone.
