Silent night

by angie A   Mar 1, 2006

Night taking over day,
i pray,
for that special lover to pass my way
as i look at the empty spot next to my bed,
fantasies have already lead
silent night,
my words cannot be spoken unless
to you they can be said
silent night,
no tender arms to relive me tight
the moon stares at me,
shining brightly with it's glow
reminding me that i am all alone,
except i already know
the stars twinkle and hold a display with delight,
if you already know you can't have that someone there is no use in reciting "i wish i may i wish i might"
without your tender voice it's just another silent night.
it reminds me of a black and white movie without noise
as i look out through my window and daydream about you with poise
desires on paper i write
about this silent night.....
