Superstitious

by Ashelin   Mar 2, 2006

Caught between this and that
Unable to see right from wrong
Afraid of every small black cat
Hearing everywhere the harpies song

Seeing ghosts around every corner
Vampires stalking in the deepest night
Unable to get any warmer
Werewolves howl sending out fright

Superstitious is what it is called
That which you can see what is not
The mysteries can enthrall
But only to those who have sought

Very interesting concept. I like that. It is also one poem whereby one can have many interpretations. Dark and yet light in it's own unique way.
