Why doesnt it get better

They say life is supposed to get better
when its only gotten worse
what is happening to me
it can be that I'm just cursed
why isn't anyone looking after me
why isn't anyone reassuring that i will be fine
but if life keeps hitting me like this
the choice will only be mine
should i stay
or should i go
would it even matter to you
because i wait for some sympathy
but you say sympathy isn't for you
so let me say this one last time
the decision was never yours
the choice is all mine
