What becomes of me

Dreaded past
nothing lasts
cry at night
nothings right
i wait and see
what becomes of me
i start to change
and feel depressed
i become very sad
and twice as mad
because i feel bad
for feeling this way
day after day
i open the drawer
pick out the knife
that will end my life
i put it against my chest
drive it in quickly
i feel a sharp sting of
a stainless steel kiss
i close my eyes
fall the ground
and drift off without a sound.
