The war was cold

by The Fallen Angel (David Strife)   Mar 3, 2006

I left you.
a cold winter morning.
i wanted to stay.
but i had got the warning.
i wanted to keep you forever.
but it didn't last long.
i really loved you.
but it all went wrong.
i woke up early.
earlier than you.
i left a note.
that's all i could do.
later that day you called me.
you where crying.
but the more i heard your voice.
the more my soul where dying.
now that time is over.
now i loved you tenfold.
i stepped in by the door but you were gone.
the war was cold
