Ocean Shore

by zestforlife71   Mar 4, 2006

I've found a peaceful sanctuary,
On what is called the ocean shore,
Where beauty and danger mix together,
Among the sand and shells.

So calm and revitalizing, lay the ocean shore
With salty breeze on your lips;
Thick sand stuck between your toes
The gentle breeze keeping you cool.

The water rushes through the palms
Over the sandcastles the water goes
Leaving little children wet and grumpy

A white mist brushes the people's faces
Leaving them damp and cold
It doesn't seem to bother them;
Because they have found a place such as the ocean shore.
