Darkening Person

by zestforlife71   Mar 4, 2006

A little girl crying in her bedroom;
Hiding from her life
and everyone in sight.
Locking herself up in her darkening person;
Thinking of thoughts that are not right,
But trying to hold on tight.
Wiping away the tears
With cold white hands
Trying to escape
the pain and the anguish
but not suceeding very far.
Moving beyond the satin curtains
The sun slowly rises.
With her delicate fingers she traces the rays.
she sees the outside world
and her heart and soul light up
she comes out of her darkening person with a whole new outlook.
