Afraid

Her sexual urges were piercing through her body like a hundred stabbing knives. His lips moved with such subtly and ease that she wondered what it would feel like to have them gently kiss her in places unknown to the human mind. He had smooth, baby soft hands; what could she do, she thought to herself, to be embraced lovingly, and safely, in those arms?
She looked at him with every ounce of energy she had, and examined his features like he was under a microscope. How perfect and flawless he seemed to her. Then, looking deeply into his eyes, she thought she caught a glimpse of his kind-hearted soul; but she merely saw only a reflection of herself, longing to be a part of him.
There was a fire, burning in the dark crevices of her heart. A raging fire that none but him could stop. It flickered violently in her eyes, and he knew it. And maybe that was why he locked himself away. Maybe, because he saw a passion that was willing to do anything to make him happy burning in her eyes, that he built a wall around his heart.
She tried to destroy and tear apart the wall that he put up around his love, but her efforts were in vain. For he continued looking into her eyes, watching the glowing embers of fire, and quickly looking away. Afraid of kindness-no. Afraid of love-yes.

its not a poem, i know this, but it has a poetic rythm to it. let me know what you think, because i was thinking of putting it in my schools mosiac files. thanks, and stay safe, strong and healthy!
