The Crow

by Ashley Riepe   Mar 6, 2006

The Crow

He soars through the night,
spreads his wings,
for his adventurous flight.

Up ahead,
he sees a light,
closes his eyes,
for it is very bright.
It appears to be a sunset.
He is amazed at its' beauty,
its' strength,
its' might.

He imagines how the sunset is much like his life,
It fades away too quickly,
and sometimes leaves you blind.
