I remember when life was easy.
I had no worries or cares in my mind.
Now I am troubled and left searching.
I am afraid of what I might find.
I remember my eyes sparkling wide,
now they are filled with tears.
Iam getting ready to go of to college,
that will be in a couple of years.
What happened to my childhood years?
Have they simply disappeared before my eyes?
I long to go back and relive them,
but I end up failing every time I try.
