HOSPITALity

He's hurt
Laying down in sudden pain
She holds his hand
And comforts him
But when you look deep inside her
She's pushing her tears back
Trying to be strong
So that he won't worry about her

But she wants to scream
She out him here
She won't let him see her like this
No way no how
Tears won't fall from her eyes tonight
Not there in the hospital
She needs to make him feel okay
Like nothing will go wrong

She grabs her coat
And walks out the door
Doesn't turn back for tears are coming up
They're joining her eyes
For a non friendly dance
She shuts out the lies and everything bad
But when she gets home
It'll all be worse

She walks through the door
And plops on the couch
Allowing herself to drift to sleep
Calmly to the sound of her tears
She awakens in the morning
To a loud ring on the phone
She answers "Hello?"
And listens to the awful news

Tears fall harder
And she drives to the hospital
Without a loving good bye
Now she says sorrow death vows
For the one she had last
Died in his sleep
They said from a broken heart

She shakes her head
And remembers it all
The night before
When she left so sudden
She didn't know
It'd be forever
It was all her fault
And she couldn't bare the pain
She killed herself right then and there
Just to join the one whom she loves
