But then I was mad

So I backed off
I cut our friendship off
Because I wanted you to be happy
Even though I hurted me to see you with her

I couldn't even really talk to her anymore

You were both my friends
But if I continued to talk to you or her
I knew my heart wouldn't be able to mend
So that's why we are not friends
But hopefully that can change
