As I sit here

by Italian Stallion   Mar 7, 2006

As I sit here and ponder all alone
I sense you are near and never will I fear
for the days we had together
are the memories that will last forever

As I sit and listen to the soft music to my ears
all I can think about is your heart against mine
but those times have past
and now it's time to move on

As I sit and start to put our pictures away
I hear your voice in the distance
I start to cry as I remember our wedding day
I take my head in my hands as I slowly start to ask why me

Why did this have to happen to me?
Why did this have to happen to my family?
Why oh why did you have to take her away?

She was my pride and joy in life
she was my wife
