For Shame

Because of you,
Ill never break away.
I watched you die-
Ill never cry,
Is my life a mistake,
A lie?

My determination hardened
Unknowingly, my soul too.
You said forever with those three words,
Yet Im not with you.

My eyes turned cold
Thoughts haunting minds
Opposite, I dont do what is told
I dont want life to go on
Knowing youre not here
On the wind youve gone.
I always thought Id be
Anyone that I could be
But no, once Im glistening cold,
I cant recall those keys
In Life..
