Remember

by RyAn   Mar 9, 2006

I'll lay there waiting
waiting for that ring
that little sign that you remember
that name or that picture
to show me its you
i wait so cautiously and carefully
counting the second for that call
as a i drift away
in to a silent slumber
still waiting
and with a mind still alert
for that warning sound
that you might have remembered
i lie there quietly
asleep, with nothing
but a heart broken wider
dryed tears that had shed
and hope that you might still remember

*She forgot our anniversery*
