Lazy rain

by alexei   Mar 9, 2006

Pit patta pit,
the sound goes by the minute getting louder.
Drops of rain,
roll lazily down the window pane
Pit patta pit
it's getting heavier
seeping in through the roof
drenching us through our proof.
Flashes of lightening,
illuminate our faces ,shinning
from fear that our world might crumble.
The malvolent voice of thunder,
sends us hugging each other closer
calling for our dear mother.
Mean while, the rain is still falling,
the lightening still flashing, and the thunder still crashing.
