From The Fo Reel Poet:True To Yourself

by Clint   Mar 10, 2006

Stay true to yourself
Stay true to your soul
And you can concur your goal
Do know what you want out of this life
Some say they do but are never right
This world is filled with strife
It’s all set up
For a black man to end up corrupt
Or on drugs
Selling killing
For no reason
Look on the corner what do you see
A black man getting stab for his shoes
The Black man can rise above this
Instead they rather sit in school and look clueless
You have to want it for yourself
So you can earn wealth
And live how you wanna live
Your house can look like the one on cribs
Recollect your thoughts don’t get caught up in the mix
Cause the media is full of dirty tricks
No man can judge another
No matter sister or brother
Only god can judge you
