My First Kiss

My first real kiss was so great
It was with a boy named Nate

It all happened so fast
That I felt I had just passed out
I couldn't remember what went on
But all I remember was we were in the School Parking Lot

At night after a basketball game
We were under a streetlight
And he was a little nervous
And then it happened

I opened my eyes
To see Nathan
He said I am not leaving
Even though he needed to be home before 9

I said Nathan you have to go
He got down on his knees and said No I am not going
I finally got him to stand up and said Nathan you need to so you can go to hockey
I leaned in and gave him one more kiss and a hug then slowly walked away

I turned around to see Nathan look back and wave bye
After he was out of sight I ran inside
My friends were all at the lunch table
And they looked at me really funny

Finally I leaned over a whispered it to Kami
She was screaming and yelling and no one else knew why
Her sister Taylor finally figured it out
Then I told Tristan and Bobbie and Amy

The only person I didn't tell was Ash
Because she wasn't there but as soon as it hit 9 I dialed her number
And she was guessing what had happened
Her last guess was he kissed me I said yes

And Ash started screaming and yelling
We talked a lot that night about it since I didn't want to bother Nathan with his homework
The next day Ash went up to Nathan and he was like what did you tell everybody
I said no but the look on my face kind of gave it away

That was the only time I ever got a kiss from Nathan
Actually 2 times because we kissed twice but you get the picture.
Now Nathan and me aren't together and all I have is that one memory
In the School Parking Lot in darkness
