You Left My Dad, Why Leave Me Too?

by Tori   Mar 11, 2006

Heavy is her heart.
Bearing more than it can take.
Do you know the hurt she feels?
Wondering how long until she breaks,
Down. She sits alone,
Cries out her soul.
And no one knows.
Wondering why Mom doesn't care.
Why Mom is glad that she's not there.
She pretends that everything is fine,
But it's only a matter of time.
Telling Dad it's okay.
In a few days it'll go away.
When really, it's another load to bear.
She wonders if anyone's out there.
To help her through the things called life.
'Cause friends are better than a knife.
