Smiling but Lying

by Amanda   Mar 11, 2006

Smiling but lying.

Convinced that I\'m ok.

Running to the drawer grabbing a knife.

Letting the blade pierce my chest.

Pressing this dagger deep into my flesh.

Blissful tears run down my face.

Hoping that I stain the floor.

I collapse and fade away, lying dark and dead.

If only you listened then I wouldn\'t be in this position.

You heard my lies and believed every word I hope you\'re happy, now that I\'m gone and departed.

I did this so you\'d finally be content.

No more of your unworkable love.

No more of your dishonesty.

You can be delighted now that I\'m gone.

All I ever did was love you and all you wanted was someone else.

I hope you fall lifeless.

Like this corpse lying on the floor.

I\'m dead and gone so you don\'t have suffer.

I just can\'t believe that you wanted more.
