Protection

by ashley   Mar 11, 2006

Rolling down my pillow falls tears full of pain. I lay here and stare out the window. Watching as the sun fades and the clouds pour out the rain. My mother stands in the door way, screaming, telling her to gt out. Each word is a stab to the heart. Only 17 and already my life\'s unstable. ready to fall apart. if she lets go, I have no one left. If she leaves me here I\'ll die. I\'ll be swallowed up by all my fear. Staring at my walls that surround me, this is my protection. My shield through life. A wall barrier to stop and keep me from anymore hate and neglection.
