Regret

I remeber a time
when life was just a game
evrything was for fun
and every day was the same

friends never lied to you
and love didn't hurt
family was always there
and the cuts didn't burn

I never felt alone
and I'd never heard of pain
everyday was exciting
and I never felt any shame

but as time goes by
the memories I forget
my life is filled with pain
and my heart is full of regret
