The sun and the moon

by aga   Mar 11, 2006

The sun shines well,
just like an enchanting spell,
with its glory,
it'll make a better story.

It gives us warmth,
it gives us light,
and also scares away the night.

The sun one day
went out to play,
while it was gone,
the night came at dawn.

The moon was full,
circle and round,
it shone like a different thing.

It was white and pretty,
to make light for the city,
the darkness crept,
and the sun wept.

Its spot was taken,
the sun was forsaken,
leaving the light,
it created a fright.

The moon was happy,
but the sun felt unhappy,
until tomorrow,
it can borrow.
