The little girl

by Jaimee   Mar 11, 2006

Have you ever felt like someone took your heart and ripped it out right in front of you and you sat there and couldn't do anything about it? Well I know a girl who had this happen to her and she wished they were never in her life. Now she sits there and wonders what it would be like if she had a father when she was growing up and now when she needed one the most. She is 14 now and never really had a true father in her life or one that acted like a father. The closest thing that she has to a father is her uncle. He's there for her when she needed him the most and when she needed to talk to someone. But shes always wanted to talk to her birth father to tell him how she felt, but she could never look into his eyes and talk to someone who ruined her life this way. He has a daughter, but he will never know her like a true father should know his daughter. Hes always been gone and never around when she needed him. Hes done this since she was three and he still did until she was in the 3rd grade. After that she never talked to him again because he broke the biggest promise he made to her. That promise meant everything to her and he threw it away. What he left in that little girls heart is a whole the size of the earth that could never be fixed know matter what they did to try to fix it and a wonder of what a true father is.
