Paradise

I dreamt of a paradise so serene,
you were there and I could see..
The tears in your eyes that made me
sad, and after we met each other,
our days went fast.
I reach out for your tear stained face,
but as the darkness came,
it all faded away, and now my paradise
is lost, and I'm trapped in insanity each day.

I dreamt of you standing there,
the night before you left,
I was on my knees crying,
and you held out your hand.

Your smile brought me joy,
and now I feel serene,
my paradise is back,
and now it's just you and me.
