Silvery moon light

by mike   Mar 11, 2006

Under the silvery moon light
stands the locust trees, in full bloom,
with its pale pink vanilla scented flowers.
and rich dark colored bark.

at the foot of the trees, grows out an array
of myrtle, and tinted golden foliage, and ferns.
hue's of copper, turns to Burt umber and rusty reds.
islands of smooth velvety mosses, surround us
with, sprigs of mint filling the air.

natures pathways carpeted in
cloves and grasses, twisting and bending,
to an open clearing,we sit next to the locust trees.
beneath falling pink petals of scented
vanilla flowers, we kiss along the blue star junipers
while, button brush and poke weed patiently wait.
