Your Doorsteps

by Aya   Mar 12, 2006

Ive knocked at your doorsteps
and waited that youd open
but you didnt let me in

I kept on knocking
until you finally locked it.

Maybe I should stop there
Im just tired of running after you
worthlessly.

It may take time
until I finally get sober,
it’s better than to force you
loving me back.

Painful, it is
I won’t allow you to kill my heart
though what you did,
is nearly close to my death.

You will someday seek
for a true home
searching for your keys.

I left it at your doorsteps.
