Premortem

by Aya   Mar 1, 2007

You murdered my heart
And stabbed my soul to death
My blood ceased to run
Now how can you solve this crime?
I could no longer bear this pain
This silence Ive been enduring,
My creed wanted to shout your name
Yet I'm chained with your innocence.
Theres no form of rationalization loving you
Makes my existence, it kills me- for I end up
Loosing you at my sight
What kills me really, and more, is you will never
Heed this dying, of which it fills my eye with jaded tears;
The bitterness taste of a sweet fruit;
Thick vagueness of living forever with you;
And the singing of the lost mockingbirds over ageing trees
That sleeps me at the hem of the day.

Ive wished a thousand repeats
Stealing your love away from her but baby
I'm not a master of thieving
Better I wait for this slaying devotion
Until it takes the littlest ounce of my gasp
And by then you see me tailing my breath
Will you please, bury me?
