Fallen angels at my feet, Death before my eyes...

by Danai   Mar 12, 2006

~When she was born,
One of the most beautiful angels of God fell on Earth
She lived her life,
Full of joy, sorrow, pain and love
She lived her life
So full of laughs and tears

~She had a revolutionnary spirit
And she fought for all her rights
With her loud, lusty voice
She made people listen to her opinion
She was a communist, she led her own rebellion
She followed all the way long her own choice

~Through periods of war
Or during periods of peace
Her life wasn't always a bliss
But she was neither rich nor poor
Helped by the first
Helping the last
Though she had suffered both starve and thirst
She managed to make of her life a blast

~She loved everyone around her
And maybe most of all, her dog
It was not like she was married,
Or had children all along
But that could not had stopped her
From having a family on her own...

~She gave a home to helpless young women
And they gave her a whole lot
She gave them all she had
And they gave her all their heart

~And now she decided to put a full stop
To the long sentence of her life
She wanted to stop
The dance of her life

~When she got sick,
She didn't complain;
She faced it right away;
She was prepared for anything;
She wanted to stay home;
She didn't like the hospitals...
Too impersonnal for her.

~When time came, she just layed in her bed
She refused all of the medicines
She knew there was no remedy
To this incurable disease...

~So she just layed in her bed,
And called for her beloved sister
She looked at her straight in the eyes
She smiled; then she lost all of her sensations
She just continued breathing
Untill her soul was gone
She was the braviest and the happiest of all...

~So she went away
Quiet, relieved from all pain
She passed away,
Full of joy, she didn't suffer
She stayed at home
Surrounded by her family,
All the people that she loved

~It was more or less expected
The cancer ate her flesh away
Her breath slowly got harder
To suddenly stop her on the way...

The aunt of my mother, Maria, died on the 18th of February 2006, at 11h50... No wonder why God wanted his little angel back... She wished to be burnt, but what we call religion forbids it... So she was burried, condamned to fade away...
I love you and miss you more than ever... RIP...
