Not Gone For Long

If tomorrow never came,
Would things between us be the same?

If the world started passing by,
Would you stay with me and wonder why?

If memories would never last,
Would you be the best thing in my past?

If God really works in mysterious ways,
Then why do I sit here counting the days?

If I wish hard will it come true,
Then I can be happy again with you.

This is a poem about a woman whose husband is fighting in Iraq. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND BRING THEM ALL HOME SAFELY.
